This fully refurbished orange ceramic lamp was originally imported by the tastemakers at Raymor for distribution in the 1960's. To this day, the gorgeous ceramics introduced by Raymor to the American audience are still highly sought out. Looking at this beauty, its easy to see why.

This lovely pottery form features a nice urn style base that was first finished in brown and over which was applied a vibrant orange, glossy glaze that reveals a sgraffito-style motif of loosely etched abstract shapes that ring the circumference around the base, body and top. It has a nice weight to it.

This lovely lamp has been lovingly refurbished with a brand new double brass pull-chain socket, new cord and wiring, and a thick lucite base to add a modern, stabilizing touch. The gorgeous retro orange color keeps this lamp true to its vintage age while the lucite base levitates it from the table. It is a lovely piece of functional art!
